I have a sensitive body. So sensitive that I’ve spent most of my life trying to figure out how to work with it rather than feel like I’m fighting against it. After years of ups and downs with my health I discovered medical astrology and things began to change. In this type of astrology we assign your astrology chart placements to parts of your body to see what types of issues you may be more susceptible to.
The use of astrology to understand health goes back as far as the Babylonian period and it’s study has continued for thousands of years through today. Although it’s no longer a mainstream practice and the scientific revolution has labeled it ‘pseudoscience’ in my experience we can’t discount the ancient wisdom that has been passed to us by those who were more connected to the earth and stars than we are.
Hippocrates who is often referred to as the Father of Medicine famously said “A physician without a knowledge of astrology has no right to call himself a physician.” The Planets and their placements in the sky can have a huge impact on our health so much so that he would use astrological transits to schedule treatments and surgeries for his patients.
Although my health isn’t perfect (yet) in my deep study of this ancient practice I’ve gained a greater understanding of my own body, it’s cycles, and how to flow with them as well as what it needs to heal. I have clarity, respect and give grace for it’s seasons and things have been clicking into place better than ever before.
After years of study with several amazing teachers I’m excited to be offering medical astrology readings!
